It’s more than three days since Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has been camping in Warangal district, participating in various developmental programmes.

He declared that he would not leave Warangal till he distributed land sites to all the weaker sections.

The entire State administration machinery has been staying in Warangal along with the Chief Minister.

It is for the first time that any Chief Minister has camped in any district for so many days.

Naturally, it raises questions as to why KCR has so much love for Warangal.

The Telugu Desam Party leaders are now raising this question. Senior TDP leader and MLA Revanth Reddy on Sunday alleged that KCR was trying to get political mileage by misleading the people for votes.

Revanth Reddy asked the Chief Minister whether he was not aware of migration of people from Mahabubnagar district in search of livelihood and the dreaded fluoride problem being faced by the people in Nalgonda district.

Alleging that the Chief Minister has undertaken the tour of Warangal district to woo the people keeping in view the ensuing elections to Warangal Municipal Corporation, the TDP leader has questioned as to why the CM was not visiting other problems-hit districts in the State.

The TDP leader further alleged that KCR was visiting the slum areas only to get public sympathy and to castigate local MLAs and government officials.

“If the Chief Minister really sincere to serve the people, KCR should visit the girijan-dominated Adilabad district, migration-hit Mahbubnagar district and fluoride affected Nalgonda district”, he added.
