Reddy Says Past Suicides Were Genuine, But Not Anymore

A few days back, if anyone said that not all deaths reported were related to Telangana agitation, minister Jagdish would have immediately lost his cool.

He would insist that they had an authentic list and that hundreds of people committed suicide for the cause. Well, elections happened and he is now a minister.

He says that not all suicides that are happening are genuine. On the other hand, he is complaining that the Andhra media hasn’t changed one bit.

For a moment, let’s leave the media aside. What about the Telangana opposition leaders questioning these deaths?

But Jagdish Reddy claims that while his government is trying it best to make sure that the lowest strata of people have access to developmental programmes, the media has been filling space with baseless stories.

He finally concluded by saying that a few publications were constantly trying to sling mud at the government by writing negative stories.
