After media reports regarding the letter by RBI to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu, now comes the news that Chandra Babu has made some interesting comments on waiver of loans.
Babu is to have pointed out that despite his best efforts, the RBI and Central government were not prepared to give a go ahead on the issue.
He is said to have told the ministers in his Cabinet to send out signals that people should not be under the misconception that AP government can do anything.
As per reports, Chandra Babu is said to have assured his team that he will be able to give some clarity on the issue after his trip to New Delhi to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Finally, Babu concluded that despite the hurdles, he was committed to fulfilling his promise. The Cabinet also decided to pass a bill increasing the retirement age of government employees to 60.
