Recentlt during Sri Rama Rajyam 50 days function, he said that Bapu has to be honored with Padma award. In this context he said, âWe are boasting ourselves when getting Padmabhsuhan awards but truly forgetting the true deserving artistesâ.
Although it didnât pinch many at the moment, slowly people understood that SP Balu was hinting Chiranjeevi. It is known that Chiru camp made a big hungama when he was conferred with Padmabhushan a few years ago. In the same function, Balu spoke on dais, âIt was not just Chiranjeevi but many got Padma awards earlier. But none could celebrate the event in this big mannerâ.
Actually Balu made a satire that day, but many dumb heads understood that as praising and clapped.
Recalling that incident and connecting to the present, Chiru fans are upset for Baluâs words. At the same time they cannot deny truth in his words.
