Puri Jagan Gets Rs 7 Cr If ‘Businessman’ Flops

One of the most talked about movies of the season is ‘Businessman’ and the reason for that is, it brings back the crazy combo of Mahesh Babu with director Puri Jagannadh. The fact about the film made in a record time and the songs creating a sensation are creating a lot of impact on the trade circles.
 
Now, it is heard that Puri has bagged a jackpot from this project. Sources say his remuneration is Rs 7 crores even if the film flops. A source close to the unit revealed “When we say flop, the openings will come at any cost and it will strike for about 3-4 days from release. Secondly, the number of theatres is high.”
 
They add “So, even if film flops the film would have made a decent collection. Now, it is hard to imagine what would be Puri’s package if the film scores a hit. That’s why he celebrated a pre-success party recently in Hyderabad inviting his close friends and noted stars from the Tollywood fraternity.”
