US $ Makes ‘Businessman’ Beat Dookudu?

Gone are the days when the success of Telugu cinema depends only on the collections in Andhra Pradesh. Today, it is all about global release and most importantly, the performance of the film in the USA. So, the dollar value is also playing a key role in a film’s revenue and success.
 
Now, the market analysts are coming up with a new observation. They say “During the phase between ‘Magadheera’ and ‘Dookudu’ the dollar value and it is estimated that a difference of Rs 15 crores came due to the dollar value. But today, the dollar value has gone up and Rupee stands at nearly Rs 54.”
 
They add “So, this phase will be between ‘Dookudu’ and ‘Businessman’. And given the massive disparity from the time of ‘Magadheera’ and now, the stakes of success are different. If the condition of rupee continues to be the same, then there is every chance that ‘Businessman’ will beats ‘Dookudu’ in terms of overall collections.” Let us see how this goes.
