Rajamouli: ‘Dookudu Is Just Kelukudu’

Dookudu released and at present bulldozing the box office with thumping collections. While it has been a great relief for Mahesh Babu fans many are letting out their own feelings on the film.

“Dookudu is just a kelukudu of Dhee, Dubai Seenu and Ready again. There is no story but it’s like a conglomeration of all those three films. I hate to say that I loved it”, said Rajamouli, a software engineer.

“Thaman’s music is filled with noises this time. Except Guruvaram and Poovai Poovai, all other songs are rubbish. Had the music been highlight like that of Pokiri, the success of the film would be bigger”, said K Ramakrishna, a banker.

“Sreenu Vaitla made a predictable film with Mahesh Babu. I’m recalling the country idiom, “moratodiki mallepuvvu ichchinaa vaadiki ekkada pettu kovaalo teleedu”. I expected Sreenu Vaitla might have come up with a great story line this time with different screenplay. But he has shown the beaten track. But still, I couldn’t keep silent but laughed heavily in second half”, said Sekhar, a groceries shop owner.

“The film is simply superb. I never watched such a great entertainer in recent times”, said Narayana, an MBA student.

“Music is good but not haunting. I think it rocks as the film is success now. I’m going to watch it with my family for second time”, says Srikanth, a journalist.

“I watched Pokiri for 7 times but not boring still. I may watch Dookudu for 2 times but not more than that. But for MS Narayana comedy, I love watching for 10 times”, said Anurag, an engineer.

 â€œIt’s not bad. Frankly speaking, I’m unable to judge this film if it’s good or bad. Villains are not powerfully and they are silly. With such big actors the screenplay is confusing”, said Shankar Goud, a realtor.

“The length would have been cut down. And no complaints as Mahesh Babu handled the show wonderfully”, says Amrita, from Villa Marie College.

On a whole people are with mixed opinions on Dookudu but at the same time saying that it’s no less to a commercial entertainer. Only time has to say how best the film fares.
