Why is Rana bearing Madhu Shalini expenses?

It is a known fact in film circles that eccentric film maker Ram Gopal Varma, who is ahead of other directors in giving opportunities to talented young artistes in his films, is far behind the others in paying them remuneration.

Many budding actors and actresses waiting for good opportunities work in RGV’s films without aspiring for remuneration; for, they feel very much lucky to get an opportunity to work with such a talented director. And Varma cashes in on their weakness and picks up only such innocent buddies.

One such actress is Madhu Shalini, who got the opportunity to work in Varma’s latest film “Department.” She has been literally struggling to bear the expenses to travel regularly from Hyderabad to Mumbai, stay there and for food.

Seeing this, our young hero Rana (grandson of veteran producer-director Rama Naidu) is believed to have come forward to bear all her expenses. And he is now taking care of all her “needs.”

Nobody sponsors anybody just for the heck of it, without expecting anything in return. Needless to say, Rana also must be expecting “something” from Madhu Shalini. What could it be? Your guess is as good as mine.
