BJP Venkayya Naidu’s ‘Swarna Bharathi’ Temple

The very mention of a temple registers the image of a deity in place and worshippers surrounding it and offering their prayers, asking for wishes etc. But a rationalistic view of a temple is a place where mankind gets benefited for real through human effort and not by divine intervention. Something like that is actually happening in Nellore and the man behind that is none other than Venkayya Naidu, the think tank of the BJP party.
 
He has come up with ‘Swarna Bharati’ which can be called a temple for mankind. Well, the premises are part of Swarna Bharati Trust and people who saw it are considering this as a temple. Built across many acres in midst of fields, the concept of this place is service, welfare, development of the people. The objective is that through service there will be welfare, through welfare there will be development.
 
Already, the trust is offering free education to street side kids. They are also being provided with free food. If the kids are not able to cope up with studies, they are being taught other forms such as art, crafts etc. The idea is, if the child is unable to shine in studies, they can fix on anything their interest lies in. Classes are taken on how to sell the art so that they can grow and become responsible citizens for the society.
 
All this is the vision of Venkayya Naidu and this is being implemented by his daughter Deepa. Also, a special focus is on self-empowerment for women who are being taught on stitching and later, their creations are sold through Dwacra. Special facilities are being made to provide bank loans for self-employed women so that they can become self sufficient. Due to this, many who are living in and around Nellore are getting benefited.
 
Apart from this, there is also free medicine supply to those with illnesses and it has been helping many poor and needy. The good side is, all this is happening without any parties or political agenda. Many are visiting this place for inspiration.

“Actually, Venkayya Naidu could have used this land for setting up a factory or give it to a complex to gain extra revenue. Or for that matter, Venkayya Naidu could have come up with a Ram Mandir. Instead of Lord Ram, his ideology is being propagated which is a very noble thing”, said Ghazal Srinivas in an occasion.

Venkayya Naidu is also running a wonderful school by name Akshara Vidyalaya that teaches students on the platform of Indian culture and heritage through the medium of English. The best part in the school starts from greeting teachers as ‘namaste acharya’ but not ‘good morning teacher’ or ‘good evening teacher’.
