Time for Car Drivers to Earn Rs 15 K Per Month

Hyderabad is opening several new opportunities in many different and unexpected ways. After the BOP and software boom, the next was the opening of several lucrative offers for the service support industry like caterers, house keeping and cab rental agencies.
 
All these years, the poor car drivers were paid a measly 3,000 rupees to 4,000 per month. The car drivers also did not have much of an option but to manage with this amount. The boom in the software industry coupled with many four wheelers hitting the roads, the demand for drivers has hot up suddenly.
 
Now there is an acute shortage of drivers and the demand supply ratio has changed a lot. There are more cars than drivers. So the drivers are asking for a minimum 8,000 to 12,000 rupees per month and in many cases, people are finding it difficult to find good drivers even at this rate. Who says only the software and BPO works boast of a five figure salary now? Even drivers in Hyderabad now boast of entry level salaries of software engineers. It is estimated that a driver on an average would earn Rs 15,000 per month in Hyderabad in another 1 year. So that makes the entry level salary for a software engineer, right!
