Atreya’s blessings for ‘Annamayya’ Bharavi

They say that blessings from gifted souls really turn out to be true and Atreya was one person who can be remembered as a learned and a gifted person. The person to be benefited from Atreya is Bharavi and this is how the story goes.

On May 21st 1983, Bharavi did a harikatha performance on the eve of the birthday of Atreya and it was on ‘Annamayya’ on the stage. Atreya was so impressed with the powerful performance of Bharavi that he blessed saying he will get very famous in the future with this Annamayya Harikatha.

True to his word, Bharavi got famous and popular with the film ‘Annamayya’  in the later years and from then on, take the name of Annamayya Harikatha and the first person to come in mind is Bharavi.
