Telangana Rakshana Samithi (TRS), the newly launched political party led by Kalvakuntla Kavitha, has begun witnessing influx of leaders from her parent party Bharat Rashtra Samithi into it.

On Friday, senior politician Boda Janardhan announced his decision to join the party soon. He met Kavitha at the party’s office in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, where the two leaders held detailed discussions.

Following the meeting, Janardhan confirmed that he would soon formally join the party along with his supporters.

He stated that he would focus on strengthening the party’s presence in the Singareni coal belt region, a politically significant area in Telangana.

A seasoned politician, Janardhan has been elected four times as an MLA from the Chennur Assembly constituency in present-day Mancherial district, representing the Telugu Desam Party (TDP).

He also served as Labour Minister in the government of former Chief Minister N. T. Rama Rao.

Political observers believe Janardhan’s entry could provide a significant boost to Kavitha’s party, particularly in northern Telangana.

His experience and grassroots network are expected to strengthen the party’s organisational base and expand its reach in key constituencies.

The development follows earlier support extended by former Both MLA Rathod Bapurao, indicating a gradual consolidation of leadership around the new political platform.
