The first Monday is a true litmus test for any film. “Bro,” starring Pawan Kalyan as the god of time, had a good first weekend but fell flat on its first Monday. As things currently stand, it is a flop.
On Monday, “Bro” received a little more than Rs 2 crore from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The film earned approximately $50k in the United States.
The pattern is clear. It will not contribute much in the coming days. It’s a huge shock for the production company, People Media Factory.
When Pawan Kalyan agreed to act in “Bro,” the production house hoped to make a lot of money, but the film turned out to be a flop.
The film had a very average opening day, but it did not collapse on the second or third day, giving the makers hope that it would hold well. However, Monday dashed all hopes.
