With tears and deep sorrow â¦..the community deeply regrets the shocking untimely demise of our beloved colleague and leader Sri Arjun Reddy Dyapa (54).
For paying homage and tributes to our beloved late Sri Arjun Reddy Dyapa, a condolence meeting will be held at Royal Albertâs Palace, Fords, New Jersey on May 14, 2011.
On April 29th 2011, he was shot and killed by an unidentified gunman at about 6:30 pm at Brunswick Pharmacy during what Trenton police investigators are calling a pill robbery incident.
âArjunâ, as he was known to everyone, did M.S. Pharma Sciences. He was a pharmacist for more than 25 years and dedicated his life to taking care of people in Trenton, NJ.
He had a wonderful family including his wife Geetha (pharmacist), a 21-year-old daughter, brothers, sisters, sister-in-laws, and brother-in-laws.
Being from humble background, he worked very hard with strong resolve and became one of the most successful pharmacy entrepreneurs and national leader for community activities. He owns and operates pharmacy in NJ area and other businesses.
Arjun Dyapa was a good friend, mentor to many younger people in his profession. He lived like a king and worked like a soldier, and many try to emulate it.
Arjun Dyapa was an active community leader. He was one of the founders of NATA and a senior leader of several social and cultural organizations in New Jersey as well as American Telugu associations ATA, TANA and was Vice-President of Indo-American Friendship Council.
Arjun left us with good memories of his friendship, selfless leadership and his doctrine of social service to the community. He was a generous donor and supporter of educational and developmental projects.
To mourn Arjunâs untimely death, a grand memorial event will be held on May 14 at:
