10th American Telugu Association (ATA) conference & Youth convention coordinator Arjun Dyapa, ATA Convention committee member and NJ Regional Co-ordinator Mahender Musuku along with a team of ATA leaders met with Honorable Union Minister of State for Human Resources Smt. Daggubati. Purandeswari in Marlboro, New Jersey.
 
NRIs Daggubati Srinivasa Prasad and Corporate Committe member Srinivasa Reddy Arikatla introduced the team to the Honorable Minister. ATA team discussed political and social issues in AP. Significance of Telugu language in USA and India was also discussed. ATA team members elaborated on the ATA mission and their commitment on helping Telugu communities in USA and India. The team cordially invited Mrs. Purandeswari to attend the upcoming ATA convention which will be held at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, USA from July 3rd – 5th, 2008.
 
Union Minister of State for Human Resources D. Purandeswari accepted the invitation and will be attending the 10th ATA convention in USA. She is looking forward to meet the local Telugu community and especially local talent at 10th ATA conference & Youth convention.
 
The ATA team who were part of the discussion and extended the invitation to Mrs. Purandeswari for the 10th ATA conference and Youth convention were Oversees Committee chair Balvanth Kommidi, New Jersey local trustee Rajeshwar Reddy Gangasani, Hospitality Chair Narayana Pirlamarla and Alumni chair Indersen Reddy  with Shekar Mudireddy, Dr Madhu Korapati and Dr Atluri.
