“All formalities have been completed to send the body of Prashanth Goinaka, 28 yrs, who was shot dead on March 21st by unknown in a Food Mart in Oklahoma City, OK. TANA Team square volunteers helped tirelessly to send the deceased to his parents in Hyderabad as soon as possible. Several community members including the Consul General of India Mr. Sanjiv Arora, Dr. Vishwanadham Puligandla, Dr. Sridhar Reddy Korsapti, Rao Kalvala, Dr. Narasimha Reddy Urimindi, Ram Yalamanchili, Gopi Chillakuri, Prasad MVL and Raheem Mohammad visited Rehma Funeral Home in Dallas on Friday to pay their last respects to Prasahnath Goinaka. The body is in transit and will reach Hyderabad Sunday night early hours of (3:00 AM) Monday. We sincerely thank Oklahoma City authorities, Consulate office in Houston and the Rehma Funeral Home and scores of volunteers who helped us in the process. On behalf of TANA, we will put a pressure on Oklahoma City Police department to purse this case seriously and punish the culprits to the maximum” said Prasad Thotakura, Executive Vice President, TANA.


Jyaram Komati, TANA President and Mohan Nannapaneni, Secretary of TANA conveyed their deepest condolences to Gionaka family for untimely death of a young person and thanked all TANA Team Square volunteers and officials who worked vigorously in making all arrangements. Ram Yalamanchili, TANA Treasurer thanked all who donated for this cause.
