‘Condom Condom’ Song- The Popular Caller Tune

We all know Government messages issued in public interest for various health concerns are usually staid and if they are about family planning, well the ads just stop short of uttering the word sex.
 
Hence the ads advocating safe sex too have been preachy and rarely on the face. So it comes as a surprise that it is from the corridors of one of these government departments that an advertisement has rolled out, which is playing out on radio FM channels asking people to be ‘samajhdar’ and change their caller tune to a jawdropping ‘condom condom’ song.
 
The caller tune’s music is not catchy but the words (condom chanted repeatedly) has listeners hooked. The ad, however, doesn’t start on this condom note. It has a man wondering how to prove his intelligence and that’s when downloading the condom caller tune is suggested as evidence for his ‘samajhdari’. That’s the buzz in the big cities now.
