Many of our students from India (Telugu extraction and otherwise) studying in the USA have questions about CPT (Curriculum Practical Training) while they are in school and OPT (Optional Practical Training) post study.

Of late there are certain changes in the way USCIS is interpreting CPT. This is causing confusion among the both the students and the  employees.

To address these concerns and more, Telangana American Telugu Association has requested renowned immigration attorney Rajiv S. Khanna of Immigration.Com to conduct a community conference call.

Mr. Khanna graciously agreed and will be conducting a free community conference call on September 10th 2015 at 9.00 AM EST

The participants can register by logging onto http://www.telanganaus.org/cptopt.php

Telangana American Telugu Association requests all students to login and avail this opportunity to get clarifications on the use of CPT and other legal issues specific to students.

Rajiv has asked us to make you aware that CPT issues are definitely in focus today and will be discussed, but OPT and other similar issues are usually best resolved through the school DSO’s. He may not be able to provide much information on these matters.
