When Telangana CM KCR and Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy suggested to take paracetamol as an available treatment for Covid-19, the trollers jumped in merry and did what they wanted to do.
But now all those trollers can be reverse trolled with the latest recommendations from the England’s National Health Service (NHS).
The latest suggestions came Wednesday from a major health organization, England’s National Health Service with the following:
“There is currently no strong evidence that ibuprofen can make coronavirus (COVID-19) worse. But until we have more information, take paracetamol to treat the symptoms of coronavirus, unless your doctor has told you paracetamol is not suitable for you. If you are already taking ibuprofen or another non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID) on the advice of a doctor, do not stop taking it without checking first”
Another NHS document about treating COVID-19 in children in the hospital explains paracetamol as the “first line” of fever treatment.
So, all in all, paracetamol is the only available drug to deal with the temperatures caused by Covid-19. Of course, it is the natural immunity that should fight with the virus and win over.
