MATA Felicitated Bhongir MP Komatireddy
MP from Bhongir constituency Sri. Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy who is on a short trip to U.S was the chief guest at the inauguration of Minnesota Area Telangana Association (MATA) in U.S.A.
The event took place in Minneapolis,MN on Saturday, February 13, 2010 which was attended by over 50 Telanganites from across the state.The main agenda of the event was to instate âMATAâ followed by a speech by honorable M.P about the present agitation going on in the state for the separate Telangana.
MP K. Rajagopal Reddy answered the questions from various members about achieving T-state, and appreciated the efforts of MATA for working towards the cause. He requested the NRIs from Telangana to play a crucial role in re-incarnating the state of Telangana, and extended his fullest co-operation from his end too. The events included a meet and greet by the members, felicitation to M.P and followed by dinner.
About MATA: MATA is a non profit organization established by some like minded people who are working towards the cause of separate state of Telangana, along with spreading the culture/tradition of Telangana.
MATA has so far helped few families back home who lost their loved ones in the recent agitation by sending donations, and also working towards bringing awareness among the people about the need for a separate state by distributing pamphlets, conducting meetings etcâ¦
MATA members are also planning to conduct a grand event called âTelangana Nightâ during the month of April 2010 in the state of Minnesota.
