National Telugu Conference in Orlando , Florida

Telugu community leaders across North America have decided to conduct a national level conference in Orlando , Florida during July 2 – 4, 2009 for Telugu people living in North America . This event will be hosted by the Florida Telugu community.
 
Needs of the Telugu community in North America are changing over time and this conference is planned to identify and address such issues. Special emphasis will be given to youth activities, sports, “second generation” issues, and non-profit activities. Telugu community is excited about this unique conference that addresses the real needs of Telugu people and their families living in North America .
 
The conference will be guided by the National Advisory Board and organized by the Conference Committee. “Our Board consists of highly accomplished and very prominent Telugu community leaders from all over North America .
 
Collectively they have a huge wealth of experience in organizing community activities” said Dr. Ranakumar Nadella. 
 
“I am very happy to be associated with this National Telugu Conference hosted by the Florida Telugu community, supported by the entire Telugu community in North America and we should be proud of their teamwork,” said Dr. Ramamohanarao Vadlamudi. This conference will conduct the first national Telugu cultural and sports competitions in North America . In cooperation with local Telugu communities and other non-profit organizations, the Conference Committee will schedule competitions in various regions with all final competitions to be held in Orlando , FL by the end of June 2009.

We invite all Telugu people in North America to attend this conference and we are confident that you will enjoy the conference in the Sunshine State – the world famous vacation destination in North America”, said Sri Ravindra Madala, a Telugu community leader in Florida . Regular conference updates will be provided to the Telugu community as the Conference Committee formulates an exciting program.
 
The Florida Telugu community demonstrated results of cohesive and inclusive efforts by the successful Florida Telugu Sambaralu 2008 and now is looking forward to a national Telugu meeting with the same spirit and ethos.
