I am urging you on behalf of a 13 year old girl who is trying to save her mother from Leukemia. T.Kameshwari, aged 40 years, is suffering from AML – Acute Myeloid Leukemia of type M4 and is undergoing chemotherapy in Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences, Panjagutta, Hyderabad, in the Medical Oncology Department, under the supervision of Dr. Raghunatha Rao. She is in a very critical condition and her situation is worsening day by day.
She is undergoing first phase of chemotherapy and would be undergoing another 5 phases of chemotherapy after which she is advised BONE MARROW TRANSPLANT.
She was a school Teacher till last year and discontinued her job because of frequent illness. Her husband is a lower middle class man, who is employed but can not afford this entire treatment for his wife. She has a 13 year old daughter, studying 9th class, who is waiting for her mother to come back home from the hospital.
The initial treatment is estimated at 2.5 lakhs which the family circle has put up to meet the hospital bills, medicines and other tests.
The treatment of Bone Marrow Transplant is estimated at around 15 to 20 lakhs, which the family can not afford, so, we are trying to raise funds for her treatment.
We all request you to save her life by donating some money of any amount towards her treatment. Each dollar and each Rupee counts. Any kind of help will be greatly appreciated.
