Press Release: TANA President removal

On September 25, 2008, the Governing Board of TANA met at 9 PM EDT, and, with great regret, adopted the following resolution, with a vote of 20 in favor, and 5 against, that it is the judgment of the Governing Board that the best interests of Telugu Association of North America (TANA) will be served by the removal of Prabhakar Choudary Kakarala as President of the corporation (TANA) and Prabhakar Choudary Kakarala be, and that he hereby is removed as President of the corporation (TANA) by a vote of 20-5.

Under our by-laws, the Executive Vice-President, Jayaramarao Komati will serve as interim President.
