In an interesting twist to Ayesha Siddiqui-Shoaib Malik wedding episode, the Hyderabadi girl has disclosed that she was the same girl Maha, who had him met for the first time in Dubai 10 years ago and there was no other girl by that name, as was alleged by his family.

“My original name is Maha Siddiqui, as mentioned in my passport. Ayesha is the name given to me by my grandmother. If Shoaib says we had cheated him with wrong name, well, both the names belong to the same person and it is me,” Ayesha told the media on Friday, She also made it clear that she had sent her photograph, not that of any other girl, to Shoaib. “We met in Dubai in 2000. We only exchanged our photographs. It was not true that I had sent him a different picture through internet, because at that time, there were no internet facilities,” she said.
