Talk about IT industry and folks in America, the first name that comes to the list is that of the Telugu folks who are simply obsessed with the idea of making it there somehow and lead a life of isolation. The IT mania had spread to Hyderabad also and more and more were seen switching their fields in the greed for making more money and much comfortable lifestyle. But that entire enigma is fading now and they taste the real side of it.
Software engineers are leaving jobs and getting into the field of their choice. Disgust is the main reason as many say, timings and lack of freedom are making them suffocated which is leading them to break the shackles and follow what their heart wants and not their head and here are a few examples of those who are daring to be different.
A well known IT guy working as a quality head in a software company kicked job and turned into an audio company head and now becoming a director. Another chap, the senior software engineer kicked all US jobs and turned real estate baron and is now the proud owner of a leading web portal. Last but not the least, there are celebrity folks like film directors who are on this track. The only thing is opportunity, talent and ‘tegimpu’ are required to do such things.
Some small earning software employees are switching over to cab driving (Rs 20000 per month) and also selling prawns (Rs 30000 per month). This shows dignity of labor is dominating among some when money comes to priority.
