Nandu’s World creator A Rama Nandana has shared an emotional Instagram statement following developments in the alleged UK job and visa fraud case involving her and her husband, Jagarlamudi Madhukar.
Nandana was detained at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport on September 7 after Andhra Pradesh police issued a Look-Out Circular in connection with a case registered at Ibrahimpatnam Police Station.
Police allegations concern money collected from people seeking UK jobs, visa assistance and sponsorships. Nandana and her husband have denied wrongdoing and said their names were misused.
In her latest post, Nandana wrote- “That day I entered in the ground 7/ 09/26 minutes before the difficult situation in my life. I didn’t step forward for a TV show. In fact, I turned down many opportunities because I wanted to address this situation first. I stepped forward because my name and my family’s reputation are being used and dragged into something that has nothing to do with us.
I came forward on my own because I know the truth, and I’m prepared to face whatever comes with it. In time, the facts will speak for themselves, the truth will come out, and those truly responsible will be held accountable.”
She further mentioned, “This is not about creating a scene , It is simply about standing up for the truth and protecting the dignity of my family.
I may cry. I may feel hurt. I may have difficult days. But I will never bow my head for something I did not do. I can be sad, but I will never let myself be defeated. I will stand tall, face the truth, and keep moving forward. Thank you for your love and support”
The post comes amid an ongoing investigation. Police records name Nandana, Madhukar and Madhukar’s father as accused in the case. The allegations remain subject to investigation and legal proceedings.
