Georgia Governor Brian Kemp has appointed Indian American commercial real estate associate broker Narender G. Reddy to serve on the newly created Georgia Transportation Efficiency Authority (GTEA) Board.
According to the appointment, Reddy will serve on the GTEA Board through May 21, 2030.
A resident of Gwinnett County, Reddy announced the appointment in a social media post, describing it as a continuation of his long-standing public service.
“I am deeply honored to have been appointed by Governor Brian Kemp to serve on the Board of the Georgia Transportation Efficiency Authority (GTEA),” Reddy said.
Reddy noted that he has served on the Board of the Georgia Regional Transportation Authority for the past 22 years.
He was earlier appointed by former Governors Sonny Perdue and Nathan Deal, as well as Governor Kemp.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to continue serving the people of our great state and to contribute to Georgia’s transportation future through this new role,” he said.
Thanking Kemp for the appointment, Reddy said he looked forward to working with fellow board members to advance transportation efficiency, mobility and economic growth across Georgia.
A licensed real estate broker associate with Coldwell Banker Metro Brokers, Reddy currently serves as a director and board member of the Georgia Regional Transportation Authority.
He has also served on the Community Resources Committee of the Atlanta Regional Commission.
Reddy studied Business Administration and Marketing at the University of Evansville in Indiana and also attended Osmania University.
The Georgia Transportation Efficiency Authority was established through legislation passed by the Georgia General Assembly in April 2026.
The authority is intended to streamline key transportation functions previously handled by the Atlanta-Region Transit Link Authority and the Georgia Regional Transportation Authority.
It aims to bring together operational expertise, institutional knowledge and a business-oriented approach to transportation governance.
