Hyderabad has become a hub for body massages and that too with opposite sex. A good research on these massage centers had listed out many hubs those are running brothels in the veil of Massage centers. Many of the massage centers in the city are of unisex and the lady massagers are working on gents.
“We don’t entertain new customers with our lady massagers. We doubt if they are from police department. We only entertain regular customers after knowing about their ins and outs. We have to maintain our business risk free”, said a massage center owner to one of his regular customers.
A few massage centers are running in residential flats in secrecy. The flats are being used as tryst for massaging and things beyond that after receiving calls from customers. Pimps are making it a big business now. This has become an easy way for them to put men in trap saying the word ‘massage’.
The prices of such massages are ranging from Rs 2000 to Rs 5000. There are few hubs in affluent places like Banjara Hills where the prices are going beyond Rs 10,000.
Task Force officials are riding on such hubs but still there is no stern check on that. It is not the prostitution chosen by ladies for ‘livelihood’. It is for bagging big money in obscene way. So, this should be curbed.
