Call it the most ironical situation that the Indian society is facing today but then it is quite obvious that though our nation is boasting of some of the most technological development along with infrastructure growth, the ground basics such as case and creed are still prevalent and that has been playing a key role in the happenings of the society in a large manner.


This has given rise to a major phenomenon of political parties being formed on the basis of caste and various groups that are coming together and deciding the fate of our state. Not just in politics, the same evil is being seen even in most of the companies that run on professional standards but the element of caste and groups tend to bring down the efficiency of various departments due to such deep rooted feelings. 


There have been many cases of students or groups fighting over caste issues and sometimes it has even resulted in human losses apart from the regular property damages. Something like this happening at student levels goes to show the kind of seeds that are being sowed in the future generations and it does not come as a surprise to see folks looking in the most dignified way possible but talking about what caste you belong to and such typical issues. 


While there has been a lot of criticism generated over the usage of the word ‘caste’ at various junctures, some feel that the usage is quite justified. If that were be the case then these folks put their foot down and say that rallies like ‘Arya Vysya Sankhaaravam’ ‘Maadiga Dandora’ and all that should be banned from happening. They also stress upon the point that whenever application forms are being given then why is there a column asking for caste and community. While the system itself is running on the basis of such social norms, they feel completely correct on their statements.


There have been emails sent to various sites that a kind of caste war is being provoked through certain articles. Those who send such emails and express their condemnation must realize that such articles are revolving around the individuals concerned and it is the maturity of the reader to understand that those individuals do not stand as the messiahs for a caste or community. They are humans just like everyone else and if the glorification is being done on them, then it is a correction that the sensible public should note instead of making an issue out of it.
