Edison, NJ, USA: TTD ex-officio board member and TUDA (Tirupati Urban Development Association) Chairman Sri. Chevi Reddy Bhaskar Reddy was felicitated by New Jersey Telugu NRIs. The event was organized at Dakshin Restaurant in Edison, NJ.
The evening started with the recital of Lord Venkateswara sthothram followed by a welcome address by Damu Gedala, Ex-TANA Regional Vice President. He then invited the chief guests onto the dais. Later Mr. Vasudeva Reddy, TANA Regional Vice President gave a brief introduction of Sri. Chevi Reddy Bhaskar Reddy.
Sri. Chevi Reddy then took the podium and shared with the audience, his political career starting with his college days till his ascent at present as TUDA Chairman.
Sri. Chevi Reddy Bhasker Reddy spoke of his political philosophy, his passion to serve the needy, the obstacles he had faced to make his dreams come true and his current services to TUDA and TTD. Sri. Chevi Reddy candidly shared his achievements; mistakes and lessons learnt. He then explained various programs introduced by TTD and TUDA. He stressed on the need and importance of service minded NRI’s in Indian politics. He also reminded about mother land, childhood and sweet things back home and the importance of serving their motherland back home.
Sri. Chevi Reddy Bhaskar Reddy was later felicitated by Mr. Damu Gedala and Mr. Prasad Kanagala, with a shawl and a plaque.
The event was attended by several guests including representatives of local Telugu organizations. Among them were Mr. Damu Gedala, Mr. Vasudeva Reddy Chinna, Mr. Prasad Kanagala, Mr. Satish Dasari, Mr. Ravi Potluri, Mr. Sudhakar Reddy Kothamallela, Mr. Suresh Sadipiralla, Mr. A.B.
