December 31st has always been the best day of the year for many since the anticipation of the New Year celebrations has always given a new high. A lot of planning goes for the celebration of 31st night and keeping that in mind, many event management companies and entertainment resorts have been coming up with some major schedules lined up for entertainment and pleasure.

However, this year is going to be a rather discouraging turnout according to experts. Usually, the prime target for such get togethers have often been the IT folk and given the current recession and the financial crisis, many of them have decided to lay low during the 31st celebrations.

This has caused a blow to the many events that have been chalked up for the celebration and it will be a while before the whole thing gets back to normal shape.
