Off late, there has been a lot of hue and cry over the increasing skin show on the screen and the overflowing alcohol throughout the state that has been affecting the minds of the people and most of the times destroying lives and families. But here seems to be a inevitable version to it.
Let us see how people are responding to this in twin cities.
“Few years ago, the concept of cleavage or navel show was considered a taboo but eventually the audience has begun to accept this. Similarly, the lip locking sequences were a big no-no but even that has started making its foray. Last but not the least, the bikini act which was considered outrageous is also making its presence felt steadily. In all this, the root result is revenue and money”, says Rajesh, an assistant director working for a movie.
Similarly, “When government had imposed ban on liquor there was a considerable change in the lives and attitude of the people but then this resulted in the government treasuries getting empty. So it now appears that such things have become more of a necessity than choice. So it is up to us to choose our paths than anything else. In broader sense only wine, women and vulgarity are reaping crores”, says Arundhati, a software engineer.
“There is nothing good or bad in fix. They change from time to time”, said Ramulu, a carpenter.
“I feel change comes by force too. If the films are projected well like Rudraveena or Swayam Krushi the people may shun in the beginning. But they tend to watch as time goes on. Vulgarity and exploiting women is something condemnable”, says Rajni Kumari, a school teacher.
In fact, even the opinions of people are never fixed. They change from person to person.
