‘Gaganam’…Hanging In The Air!!!

Producer Dil Raju is currently paying the price for taking up three different projects simultaneously. Due to the post production of ‘Gaganam’ and the under production of Prabhas- Kajal starrer ‘Mr Perfect’ under the direction of Dasarath, the ace producer has not been able to promote his somewhat successful film ‘Brindaavanam’ in his usual aggressive style. It is heard that ‘Gaganam’ is giving a lot of tension to Dil Raju.
 
It seems he is unable to sit and calculate whether ‘Brindaavanam’ will end up giving him a hit or will it hit him. At the same time, it is also not allowing him to promote the film. As if he has nothing to lose whether ‘Gaganam’ hits the screens or never releases, hero Nagarjuna has gone ahead and announced the release date for ‘Ragada’. With this, it has become compulsory that ‘Gaganam’ must be released one month before. Since the first copy was ready, though Dil Raju wanted to release it, ‘Brindaavanam’ became the obstacle.
 
If he wants to wait for 2-3 weeks then Ramcharan Tej is arriving with his ‘Orange’. As it is, ‘Gaganam’ is an experimental movie and pitting it against a commercial entertainer like ‘Orange’ would be a big risk. On the other hand, the chance of releasing it later is also a problem since Venkatesh is arriving with his ‘Nagavalli’. Or…even if Dil Raju is looking at waiting for a month or so after ‘Ragada’ and releasing it, then the danger is even high.
 
Negative publicity will spread stating the film has not shaped up well and that’s why it is being delayed. Also, even before one film of Nagarjuna released, if his second film releases then it will become a topic for discussion. Given the situation, Dil Raju’s condition seems to be matching the famous Telugu adage “Mundhu Choosthe Nuyyi…Venuka Choosthe Goyyi’.
