Gossip: Bhumika Lost Rs 1.5 Cr

Actress Bhumika invested Rs 1.5 Cr in the movie ‘Yagam’ as per sources. She made her presence on screen as female lead and also projected her banner Down Town Films under the tag ‘Presented By’. She believed in the script and directr fully and shelled out her amount.
 
And Shivaji took the remake rights from Kannada by burning Rs 15 lakh plus and then produced the movie ‘Taj Mahal’. Although the cost was less with respect to casting, the production costs shot up. The story has no potential to work among Telugu masses, although it worked in Kannada. Shivaji wouldn’t have done this project, felt audiences.
 
So, while Bhumika lost Rs 1.5 Cr, Shivaji lost more than that may be.
