Gossip: Investment Pawan’s Name YVS’s!

After having given a super duper hit with ‘Devadasu’, director Y V S Chowdary came up with a miserable flop in the form of ‘Okka Magadu’ and followed it with another disaster ‘Saleem’. Right now, he is working on a new project which will introduce the darling nephew of the Konidela family. YVS is producing and directing it in his home banner ‘Bommarillu’.

Though ‘Okka Magadu’ flopped miserably, YVS made a profit of more than Rs 5- Rs 6 crores. Similarly, though ‘Saleem’ failed to get the appreciation from the audience, YVS managed to deposit nearly Rs 2.5 crores in his bank account as part of his remuneration. It is also known that during that time, YVS created an issue that Mohan Babu had committed Rs 3 crores but gave only Rs 2.5 crores and the rest was an invalid cheque. That is why, when the announcement of the Konidela family nephew project has been made and that too under YVS’s production, though it came as a surprise. But, it is now being said that for the film which introduces the son of Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan’s sister, the producer is not Y V S Chowdary.

As per reliable sources, it is heard that the entire investment for the film is being made by Pawan Kalyan. With a budget of Rs 12 crores, Pawan has reportedly entered into an agreement with YVS that the latter must come up with the first copy. This agreement is said to have taken place with Chiranjeevi as the witness. Taking such a big risk for his nephew, Pawan Kalyan sure needs to be appreciated.
