The day ‘Shakti’ released, NTV came up with a program and the essence of it was the film failed to reach the expectations of the audience. This enraged Aswini Dutt who proposed that the channel must be banned. Meaning, they must not be invited to any film press meets, not giving any interviews, trailers.
Whether that is possible or not, it is heard that Aswinit Dutt is adamant on banning Ileana, the leading lady of the film âShaktiâ.
Recently, in an interview given to an English newspaper, Ileana reportedly said she was disappointed with âShaktiâ and criticised that she was narrated one story and the story turned out to be something else on the screen.
She went few steps ahead and said that she canât ask her fans to watch the film that she doesnât like and added thatâs why she didnât take part in the promotion activity.
On the same day, Aswini Dutt came up with grand advertisements thanking the Telugu audience for their support, showing collections that âShaktiâ will create new records.
But through her statements, Ileana literally conveyed that all those statements were lies and declared the film to be a super flop. After hearing this from the filmâs heroine, who will dare to watch the film?
Taking one crore rupees as remuneration, apart from dancing four steps in audio release function, Ileana did not even participate in the promo activities and instead she did negative publicity. This is reportedly giving Aswini Dutt the ground to ban Ileana and it is heard that even the other big producers are supporting this move.
