Krishnam Raju Showing His ‘Raju Pride’?

The Raju community in our state is slated to be a community of royal descendants so usually folks tend to be a bit on the royal side as per many observers. Now, one man seems to have demonstrated that and he is none other than rebel star Krishnam Raju.

It is heard that during the making of ‘Billa’, Krishnam Raju wanted to re-shoot about ten days of work and director Meher Ramesh said that it would be costly and would amount upto Rs 20 lakhs. For this, the rebel star is believed to have said that he would never bother for 20 lakhs loss when his budget is Rs 25 crores for the film. This was said by Krishnam Raju himself in a TV interview.

He is also said to have mentioned that his banner will not compromise on anything including money to show the pomp. Those who have heard this were saying that it went on to reveal the caste flavor with his words. Even some of the greats like Ramanaidu wouldn’t have gone in for such approach, they were commenting. Rs 20 lakhs is a very big amount these days even for wealthiest producers. But Krishnam Raju said that he never cares for that. This attitude would certainly see more directors queuing behind Krishnam Raju’s Gopi Krishna banner in near future. Indeed, ‘Rajus’ royalty and ‘care not’ feeling for money when compared with pride and quality is unique….Krishnam Raju is real Raju in his words’, say sources.
