Ever since Joseph Vijay was sworn in as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, concerns have reportedly reached S A Chandrasekhar from several quarters over the growing public attention around Trisha Krishnan and her alleged proximity to the government as a power centre.
According to industry and political circles, some members feel that Trisha is allegedly benefiting from the situation for image-building purposes.
The discussion is said to have intensified after Vijay attended a wedding with Trisha ahead of the elections, a move that sparked fresh rumours about their alleged relationship.
Adding to the chatter was Trisha’s recent visit to Vijay’s residence on May 4, which coincided with both the party’s victory celebrations and her birthday.
Her presence at the swearing-in ceremony, along with her warm public greeting and hug with Vijay’s mother, also reportedly became talking points within Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam.
Sources claim that several supporters have advised Chandrasekhar to counsel Vijay on maintaining a careful public image, especially as political expectations around him continue to rise.
