The hero has been trying for a pan-India image for the past few years. This time, he is determined to achieve it at any cost. However, his ambition is reportedly creating serious problems for the producer.
On one side, the director is taking extra time in the name of perfection. On the other side, the hero is reportedly suggesting several reshoots. As a result, the producer is caught in a difficult situation.
Due to the reshoots, the film’s budget has already increased by nearly 30 per cent. The shooting is now in its final stage and is expected to be completed within another three weeks.
However, at this crucial stage, the producer may have to spend another Rs 6 crore. With no other option, he has reportedly agreed to the additional expenditure.
The hero usually gets good openings in the Telugu states. But with the budget increasing heavily, the film must become a blockbuster in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and overseas markets.
Otherwise, the situation could turn into a case of “the operation was successful, but the patient died.”
At present, the film has good buzz. However, there are reports that its release may be postponed once again.
