According to sources, producer T G Vishwa Prasad’s investment in Spirit could significantly improve his financial position after the setbacks caused by Adipurush and the delayed release of The Raja Saab.
Around a year ago, Prabhas reportedly helped Vishwa Prasad secure the Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka theatrical rights of Spirit for ₹150 crore, with an advance payment of ₹100 crore.
Considering the time that has passed, the effective investment would naturally be higher after accounting for interest costs.
The most striking aspect is the film’s current market valuation, even before the promotional campaign has begun.
Trade estimates suggest that the Nizam territory alone is valued at around ₹90 crore, while Andhra is estimated at ₹100 crore and Rayalaseema at nearly ₹30 crore.
In addition, the Karnataka rights were reportedly acquired from Vishwa Prasad by Asian Sunil for ₹36 crore on an advance basis.
For comparison, Kalki 2898 AD delivered a share close to that benchmark in Karnataka, highlighting the strong commercial potential of Spirit.
What makes these figures even more remarkable is that the film’s trailer has not yet been released.
If the promotional content receives an exceptional response from audiences, the theatrical valuations could rise even further.
If these estimates materialise, Spirit could help Vishwa Prasad recover a substantial portion of the financial losses he has accumulated over the years.
