Rajinikanth’s extraordinary journey from a bus conductor to one of Indian cinema’s biggest superstars may soon be brought to the big screen.
The actor has reportedly been working on his autobiography for some time, and fresh reports suggest that the book could later be adapted into a feature film.
Although no official announcement has been made, speculation around the possible biopic is steadily growing.
According to media reports, Rajinikanth’s autobiography will cover important phases of his personal and professional life. It is expected to explore his early struggles, rise to stardom, major career achievements and the challenges he faced along the way.
The superstar has also reportedly discussed the possibility of turning the book into a film with people close to him.
Rajinikanth’s daughter Soundarya had earlier confirmed that her father was writing his life story.
She said the autobiography would begin with his days as a bus conductor in Bengaluru and trace his remarkable journey to becoming a celebrated superstar.
Soundarya described the book as a detailed account of Rajinikanth’s life, including the hard work he put into every role and the effort behind his success.
She also expressed confidence that the autobiography would attract global attention.
Rajinikanth began his working life as a bus conductor in Bengaluru more than five decades ago. He later entered cinema and went on to build a massive fan following across India and abroad.
During his long career, he has acted in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada films and received several prestigious honours, including the Padma Bhushan, Padma Vibhushan and Dadasaheb Phalke Award.
On the work front, Rajinikanth will next be seen in Jailer 2, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. The film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on October 15.
He also has Ashwath Marimuthu’s Dharman in the pipeline.
