Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt are now officially married.
The intimate wedding took place at the 61-year-old actor’s Bandra residence in Mumbai, with close family members and friends in attendance.
According to reports, Aamir and Gauri also signed the necessary documents to legally register their marriage.
The couple had known each other for around 25 years before their friendship turned into a relationship. They reportedly began dating a little over two years ago.
Aamir had earlier confirmed that the wedding would be held at home in a simple and private manner.
The ceremony was attended by Aamir’s three children and Gauri’s son.
Aamir was first married to film producer Reena Dutta, with whom he has two children, Junaid Khan and Ira Khan.
He later married director Kiran Rao in 2005. The two separated in 2021 and continue to co-parent their son Azad.
Gauri, meanwhile, has a young son who largely stays away from the limelight.
Around 150 guests were reportedly invited to the wedding, including relatives who travelled from overseas.
Gauri is originally from Bengaluru and spent most of her life there. She is the daughter of Rita Spratt, who ran a salon in the city.
According to her professional profile, Gauri studied at Blue Mountain School and later completed a course in styling and photography at the University of the Arts London in 2004.
She is also associated with the beauty and lifestyle business and reportedly runs a BBlunt salon in Mumbai.
