Ravi Teja has always been highly conscious about maintaining a youthful image on screen.
Over the years, the actor consistently chose energetic roles and glamorous appearances, often drawing criticism for pairing opposite heroines much younger than him.
However, the actor seems to be breaking away from that image with his upcoming film “Irumudi”, directed by Shiva Nirvana.
In the film, Ravi Teja reportedly plays an ordinary middle-class man with a completely grounded and realistic appearance, far removed from his usual stylish avatar.
A major portion of the story features him as an Ayyappa Swamy devotee, dressed in traditional black attire associated with the pilgrimage. He is also said to be portraying the father of a pre-teen daughter.
Now, the latest buzz from the film circles is that Ravi Teja will also appear in the get-up of an elderly man during a crucial episode in the movie.
If true, this would mark a major image makeover for the actor, showcasing a side of Ravi Teja rarely seen before on screen.
