One of Telugu cinema’s most successful thriller franchises is back. Polimera 3 was officially launched with a traditional pooja ceremony in Secunderabad, marking the next chapter in director Dr Anil Vishwanath’s acclaimed horror universe.
The film is being produced on a grand scale by Vamsi Nandipati and Janhvi Narang under the banners of Vamsi Nandipati Entertainments and Sri Venkateswara Cinemas LLP, with the blessings of the late producer and distributor Narayan Das Narang.
The biggest highlight of the launch was the announcement that Action King Arjun Sarja has joined the franchise. Fresh from the success of Blast Zone, Arjun has been cast in a key role that is expected to be one of the film’s major attractions.
His addition has raised expectations, with fans eager to see him enter the mysterious world of Polimera. The film also marks his return to direct Telugu cinema after many years.
The launch event turned into a prestigious industry gathering, with several prominent personalities extending their support. Ace producer Allu Aravind gave the ceremonial clap, D. Suresh Babu formally handed over the script, while Bunny Vas switched on the camera and directed the inaugural shot.
The makers launched the project on Narayan Das Narang’s birth anniversary as a tribute to his remarkable contribution to the film industry.
Satyam Rajesh reprises his popular role as Komaraiah, while Kamakshi Bhaskarla, Getup Srinu, Baladitya and Rakendu Mouli return in important roles.
With a stronger ensemble, bigger production values and an expanded supernatural narrative, Polimera 3 is shaping up to be one of the most awaited projects. More details are expected to be announced soon.
