Following the positive response to its trailer, the film attracted interest from several distributors. However, director M. S. Raju has opted for a self-release through Geetha Arts and Annapurna Studios, reflecting his confidence in the film's theatrical potential.
The release has now been locked across all major territories, ensuring a wide Independence Day rollout.
A major highlight is the USA release by Moksha Movies. Initially planning a release across just 14 screens, the distributor reportedly expanded the rollout to 140 screens after watching the film, underlining growing confidence in its theatrical appeal.
In the Telugu states, ‘Agadha’ will be released through the exhibition network of Geetha Arts and Annapurna Studios.
In Karnataka, the film will be distributed by V.K. Films, the distribution company associated with Hombale Films, while a prestigious distribution house 'S' picture will handle the Tamil Nadu release.
The trailer has showcased ‘Agadha’ as a visually ambitious supernatural drama with a divine and mystical backdrop. Its reverse chronological narrative, extensive CGI and haunting background score have further heightened audience curiosity.
