Allari Naresh’s upcoming fantasy comedy Ramba Oorvasi Menaka, directed by Chandra Mohan Chintada and produced by Razesh Danda and Nimmakayala Prasad under Annapurna Studios and Hasya Movies, is gearing up for release on September 4.
After making a positive impression with the film’s teaser, the makers came up with its trailer. Released by King Nagarjuna, the trailer introduces a colourful world that blends mythology and humour.
The story revolves around Suri, whose prayers finally bring three celestial beauties- Ramba, Oorvashi and Menaka, to his village. But they arrive without their divine powers.
What begins as Suri’s long-awaited wish soon turns into an uncontrollable mess, as he finds himself caught between Lord Indra’s challenges.
Allari Naresh carries the story with his comic flair. His impeccable timing makes Suri an instantly likeable character. Surabhi plays his love interest. Vennela Kishore brings his trademark energy to the role of Indra.
Naresh VK makes a strong impression with his comic performance, while Rashi Singh, Vishnupriya and Prisha Singh fit well into the roles of the three apsaras.
Chandra Mohan Chintada keeps the narrative packed with comic situations. Allari Naresh’s OG imitation towards the end is the best part.
Raam Reddy’s vibrant cinematography adds visual energy to the proceedings, and Chaitan Bharadwaj’s lively score suits the comic mood.
