Icon Star Allu Arjun’s close friend Sandeep Ramineni has turned producer with his banner Meera Productions.
The banner’s first production venture, titled “Joker”, was formally launched with a grand muhurat ceremony at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad.
The upcoming entertainer stars Maurya Siddavaram and Tanvi Aakanksha as the lead pair. Several noted members of the film fraternity attended the launch event.
Producer Allu Aravind gave the ceremonial clap for the inaugural shot, while Allu Sneha switched on the camera. Producer Bunny Vas handed over the script, officially kick-starting the project.
Speaking to the media, producer Sandeep Ramineni, popularly known as Sandy, said the film is a wholesome entertainer with strong emotional depth.
He praised director Geetha C. Shekhar for coming up with a script that blends comedy, entertainment and meaningful emotions into an engaging narrative.
The team is planning to begin principal photography in August. Sandeep also said the chemistry between Maurya and Tanvi will be one of the major attractions of the film.
Details about the supporting cast and technicians will be announced soon.
