Deepika Padukone chose Allu Arjun and Atlee’s Raaka as her comeback film after taking a break following the birth of her daughter, Dua.
After regaining her fitness, she resumed shooting for the film last year.
Now, with Deepika expecting her second child, director Atlee is prioritising the completion of all her scenes before she goes on maternity leave.
Most of her action sequences were completed during the earlier schedules.
The team is now filming the remaining talkie portions, including her combination scenes with Allu Arjun, on a specially constructed set in Mumbai.
Allu Arjun has adjusted his dates to ensure that Deepika’s portions are completed on priority.
Although Raaka is scheduled for release only next year, the makers are keen to wrap up her entire shoot before she takes an extended break from work.
