This crazy project was ceremonially launched today with a splendid pooja event. Producer Krishna Pothineni presented the script to Ram Pothineni as part of the traditional launch rituals.
The ceremonial first shot, filmed before God's portrait, was graced by P Murali Mohan, who switched on the camera, while PV Ravi Kishore gave the inaugural clap.
Making the occasion even more memorable, Ram Pothineni stepped behind the camera to direct the opening shot. The makers also commenced the regular shoot today in Hyderabad.
#RAPO23 is built around a completely original story penned by Ram himself. Billed to be an intense psychological action thriller with a striking neo-noir flavour, the film is said to explore ideas that remain largely untouched in mainstream Telugu cinema.

The makers are bringing together several well-known actors to portray crucial roles, with official casting announcements expected shortly.
