Megastar Chiranjeevi and Venkatesh are both targeting the Sankranthi 2027 season for the theatrical release of their upcoming films.
Venkatesh is teaming up with Kalyan Ram for a multistarrer directed by Anil Ravipudi, who is known for completing films at a fast pace and often aiming for Sankranthi releases.
However, Chiranjeevi’s film with director Bobby is still said to be uncertain about reaching theatres in January 2027.
Meanwhile, there is considerable discussion and speculation surrounding the titles of both films.
Balreddy Bammardhi is one of the titles doing the rounds for the Venkatesh-Kalyan Ram film.
The makers recently unveiled Venkatesh’s character poster, revealing that he plays a Colonel named Venkat Reddy. The speculation is that Kalyan Ram plays his brother-in-law, and hence the title Balreddy Bammardhi is reportedly being considered by Anil Ravipudi.
However, January 13 Vidudala is also said to be under consideration. It remains to be seen which title the makers eventually finalise.
On the other hand, Chiranjeevi recently appeared to hint at the title of his film during the Korean Kanakaraju event by casually dropping the word “Kadiri.”
While the actor only hinted at it, insiders claim that the team has finalised Kadiri Kakaji as the title.
Chiranjeevi reportedly plays a character called Kakaji in the film.
The title glimpse of Chiranjeevi’s film is scheduled to be unveiled on August 22.
